Field Evaluations

HAE evaluates many structures including, but not limited to, steel and concrete water tanks, standpipes, elevated tanks, hydropneumatic tanks, penstocks, water mains, and a variety of water and wastewater treatment structures.

STRUCTURAL & SEISMIC EVALUATIONS

  • Evaluate appurtenances in relationship to seismic events

  • Evaluations following seismic events or overfilling damage

  • Recommendations and costs of structural modifications to bring reservoir into compliance with current codes and standards

CORROSION EVALUATIONS

  • Condition of coatings, paints, and appurtenances

  • Adhesion of existing paints

  • Failure analysis

  • Recommendations and costs of coating, paint, and safety repairs

  • Prioritize facility repairs

  • AWWA recommends evaluations every 3 years
